The Turkey Theatre Troupe is an English language theatre group founded by Katona László  at the English and American Studies Institute, University of Pannonia in January, 2008. Since then the troupe has achieved great successes and has a growing fame.  

Our mission is to offer real theatre experience and theatrical entertainment in the English language. It is also our foremost goal to promote the importance of learning foreign languages amongst primary and secondary school students. And of course, it is also part of our mission to deliver novel, exciting and engaging theatrical performances to attract more and more young people back to theatre.

The Turkey Theatre Troupe functions as a community theatre group, which means that our shows/programmes and performances are in service of the English speaking community in Veszprém and in broad terms in Hungary.

We also collaborate with the American Corners Hungary, especially with the Veszprém branch. In the framework of this collaboration we offer English language theatre programmes to secondary schools all over Hungary.
